The annual Belwin Bison Festival returns! Experience a spring day on the prairie, filled with fun activities for all ages including the release of the 2022 Bison Herd from NorthStar Bison.

SCHEDULE

Throughout the day of the Belwin Bison Festival, enjoy family friendly activities that include live music, kids’ art making, prairie trail exploration, native plant sales, and food trucks. Performing artists include the Riddle Brothers, Sarah Greer and Dean Magraw, and Robert Everest with Michael Bissonnette on percussion.

10:00 am: 5k “Run with the Bison” Fun Run

Before the bison take to the prairie, have a fun run through it! (Pre-registration required; runners may arrive for check-in starting at 9:00 am; there is a 10-minute walk to the starting line.)

10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Live Music, Activities in the Tent, ArtReach Mobile Art Gallery, Food Trucks

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm: Arrival of the Bison Herd

The Bison generally arrive sometime between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm. (Animals don’t always follow our schedule, so we give them some wiggle room!)

1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Live Music, Activities in the Tent, Food Trucks

$10 per car. Pay as you drive in, cash or check. No RSVP required. Please note: No dogs allowed at this or any Belwin event.
