Nature journaling is the process of slowing down and recording nature observations as words, numbers, and drawings. Nature journaling is also the practice of being creative and playful with how we see the world. This class is for children and adults interested in building relationships with nature through play and curiosity. Gather as a group at Belwin's Wetlands Center for warm-up activities, then walk through Belwin's habitats to practice nature journaling. Bring a journal and writing utensils (e.g., pens, pencils, paints) to record your observations and dress appropriately to be outside.
All children under the age of 18 must attend with an adult.
Activity Rating: 3~ Walking moderate distances with some steps and/or stairs and standing.
This course is lead by Emily Hayne
