People like you allow Belwin to thrive.
Thanks to the support of our community, our woodlands are healthy, our streams are cleaner, children are exploring nature, and bison are bringing the prairie to life. If you’re already a donor, thank you! If you’re not, we encourage you to join our family of supporters by giving an amount that is meaningful to you.

Eco Patches – Restoring the forest, one patch at a time
While beautiful and beloved, the red pine forest near Belwin’s Education Center is not sustainable. The trees are aging, crowded, and susceptible to disease. Hastened by an infestation of bark beetles, Belwin has begun removing the sickest trees, replacing them with a more ecologically appropriate biome.
You can be a part of transitioning the forest slowly from red pine to a more biodiverse forest featuring white pines and bur oaks. When you sponsor an eco patch for $500, Belwin will plant a 10′ x 10′ area featuring one tree with a variety of complimentary understory plant species.
Thank you for helping to create a more sustainable forest!
We surpassed our goal of raising $30,000 to purchase a trail mower and ATV for our public spaces! Thanks to nearly 100 generous donors, we raised over $35,000 this summer. Thank you!
Your gifts to the Happy Trails campaign will keep our trails accessible and ready to welcome even more people to Belwin for many years to come. We love seeing your smiling faces out there. Happy trails!
A force for good
We celebrate everything your donations make possible. As a donor, you’ll receive our twice yearly print publication, The Meadowlark, as well as invites to special donor appreciation events.
Those who give $500 and above are entitled to a private bison buggy ride through our restored bison prairie. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that gets you up close to the herd and celebrates everything your donations make possible.
