Call for Adventurous Musicians
Music in the Trees
Music in the Trees is an ecologically based music event taking place this August 15 and 16. Belwin Conservancy is looking for duets (or solos) with strong improvisational skills to perform from tree hunting stands (16’ high, individual seats attached to trees within Belwin’s seven-acre, red pine grove). Open to vocalists, instrumentalists, body percussionists, and all combinations. Through music in communion with the sounds of the forest, we will create community with the land and with one another.
Music in the Trees is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. Additional support for this event comes from the St. Croix Valley Foundation.
