Environmental Education Manager
The Environmental Education Manager is a new position that will lead the expansion of environmental education programming at Belwin. This person will shape program design with the Program Team and deliver natural history programming for new education partners. Responsibility will include teaching outdoors and in schools, as well as curriculum development, booking and logistics for school programming, and planning with partners (primarily Stillwater Area Public Schools) for program expansion. Programming will initially be focused on 3rd, 4th, 5th grades, but will expand to K-12 over time. This position will create and teach on-site curriculum as well as pre and post activities for in-class learning as a way to prepare students for their visit and to help cement concepts that they learned at Belwin. In addition, this person will provide natural history programming alongside other Belwin Naturalists for the general public and at Belwin’s large events.
